Rick is now enjoying and making the most of his retirement, trying new interests and making the most of new opportunities to learn new skills, this included three years ago training as a radio presenter. Rick was Born in Coventry, and was one of four children to his parents. Teaching became his vocation and from 1976 he teached for 37 years.

Teaching was his passion, and he saw RE as a commitment to developing the whole person.  Both inside and outside the classroom, he always encouraged a ‘can do’ attitude and fostered friendly, caring relationships while also developing courses and opportunities for students to both understand and respect the diversity in our communities

Each week Rick will guide you on a nostalgic, informative and musical mystery journey through songs from past & present decades.
From Soul to Funk from rock to punk Rick will explore the genres, introduce you to some new prefix's relevant to the music all with occasional humour and wry observations.
